Rudy Oliver was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His interest in photography has been well developed since he was a child. He grew up and worked through exploration of lights, motions, and shadows. He elaborated the art of photography at Jakarta Institute of Arts ( Institut Kesenian Jakarta (IKJ) ) as his formal education move.
